Nathan Lerner (1913-1997) was an influential Chicago photographer and designer. He was Henry Darger’s landlord and discovered Darger’s work shortly before his death.
Kiyoko Lerner, his wife, became the heiress of Darger’s work and is now a close friend of Philippe Cohen Solal, the creator with Mike Lindsay of OUTSIDER, the album and trans-media project inspired by Darger.
