With his new album “75010,” set to be released on March 22, 2024, Philippe Cohen Solal (Gotan Project) has set out to create a global music with a hyper-local scene, namely his neighborhood, the 10th arrondissement of Paris.
On March 28th, starting at 8pm., he will debut his new compositions in Paris at the Chapelle des Récollets (Café A).
In partnership with the International Welcome and Exchange Center of the Récollets, a respected cultural institution in the 10th for over two decades, this live performance will feature a lineup of album collaborators such as Charlélie Couture, Judith Chemla, Uzay, Ariana Vafadari, Rusan Filiztek, Sarah Manesse, Jodie Coste, Alfa Martians, Lazy Flow, along with special appearances by Sarah McCoy and the Afghan musician family Ibrahimi, who were former residents of the Récollets.
Adding visual dimension to the evening, renowned artist Olivier Lubeck will unveil an immersive installation that complements the musical narrative of the project.
